will include Jazz, Big Bands, Swing, Gospel, and Rock ‘n Roll.

Jazz Youth Invitational

Beginning on Friday April 27th with the Jazz Youth Invitational, Jazzmania once again invites secondary school jazz ensembles from the Grey, Bruce and Simcoe county region to perform before jazz professionals and benefit from their expertise and commentary. Running from 9:00am ‘till 5:00pm. The student portion of Youthfest concludes at 3:30pm. Then they will be treated to a concert performed by the Noodle Factory Jazz Project. Dinner Jazz

New this year, Jazzmania will feature Friday evening Dinner Jazz from 6-8 pm at venues in and around Thornbury and Clarksburg. Diners can choose their favourite eatery and/or their favourite band and be sure of having a great evening. Menus posted under each venue. Pricing includes dinner and music.

Reservations are required for Dinner Jazz and *can be made online* or **by calling the venue**  of your choice.

The Music Crawl following dinner  will require a $15 wristband for entry to all   "Hot Spots".

After dinner, Jazzmania continues with its famous Friday evening "Hot Spotsl" featuring jazz, swing, blues and a bit of R&R.  Whether you want to sit and listen or get up and dance, there will be a venue with the right style to fit your mood. What’s more, there is a free shuttle service to all of the venues throughout the evening. Tickets $15.

Big Band Era - $25

The Saturday afternoon program will see performances by the host band, Georgian Sound Big Band, followed by the great Lighthouse Swing Band and finally by the ever popular Toronto All Star Big Band. The oldest members of The Toronto All Stars Big Band are only 22! This is an unrivalled opportunity to hear and dance to three great “big bands” - playing both the familiar swing and jazz tunes of the 30’s and 40’s as well as more modern pieces. To spice things up, you can enjoy swing dancers again this year, demonstrating their high energy swing dance style. Tickets $25 

The "Jazz Cafe"  will have a selection of finger food available throughout the afternoon as well as a cash bar.

4 Decades of Dance - SOLD OUT

Big Band Saturday Night has a new twist this year. The Georgian Sound Big Band and Toronto All Star Band will lead off the program playing numbers from the 30’s and 40’s. The swing dancers will also put on their entertaining show. But, the evening will wind up with The Martels playing their signature high energy 50’s and 60’s rock and roll hits. From beginning to end, the program is designed to get you out of your seat and onto the dance floor.
